Software Design: Richard Pike

The Internet has become Western culture's predominant research tool, mode of communication, and vehicle for dissemination of information. Egogoogle playfully approaches the serious issue of considering the implications of a society whose lexicon has recently expanded to include "ego surfing." In many circles, a person' s net worth is best assessed by the level of their web presence, more specifically by checking their "Google value." Egogoogle invites viewers to "google" themselves and informs people of their net worth - providing criticism and advice to some, praise and accolades to others.
